Christmas is traditionally celebrated in Mikulov!
A programme of events commemorating our customs and traditions is an integral part of Advent and Christmastime, and visitors can look forward to Advent concerts, special events, the ceremonial illumination of the Christmas tree, St. Nicholas’ gifts for children, the event known as Christmas beneath the Town Hall and a number of other accompanying events. A new event this year is “Let’s Wish a Merry Christmas” to be held in the Square in the morning of Christmas Eve (24 December). Local galleries and establishments will also be contributing to the cultural programme. The programme of events is to last for the whole of the month of December.
