Tips and historical sites along the way
Laa an der Thaya – an educational trail along the town wall, the thermal spa of Laa with an outdoor swimming-pool, an orthodox church and a cemetery with war monuments to the dead Russian soldiers, the brewery Hubertus Bräu.
Hanfthal – the main attraction is the Hemp Museum exhibiting hemp products (hemp has been grown here since 1149). You can take a walk along the Hemp Trail.
Unterstinkenbrunn – a widely known wine cellar alley “Loamgrui”, unique in character within Weinviertel: the wine cellars here were built on the model of houses in the village Unterstinkenbrunn. Outdoor swimming-pool.
Fallbach – Church of St. Lambert, a beautiful view of landscape in and around Laa.
